NextGen Newsletter - October 2023
NextGen is a 20+ year old community supporting each new generation of venture capital talent.
Hey y’all,
Apologies for a late newsletter this month. We have heavy hearts watching terrorism and violence unfold in Israel and Gaza, and we grieve for innocent civilians that have lost their lives. It’s easy to be consumed by the startup tech bubble that our industry revolves around - this month we’re thinking of our friends and families who are dealing with incredible hardships. Our thoughts are with them.
On the NextGen front, we welcome David Bloom as our new Board Chair, and we welcome Ana Carolina Scalercio as a new addition to our board. Excited for this season of change! We plan to recruit new board members in the next several months, if you have any questions here please send David a note.
Read on for the latest updates on investor moves, content, and open roles for the month.
Thanks,
Shawn and the NextGen Board
